ANDREA PHILLIPS,  LMFT (MT4338)

Andrea Phillips operates from the bone deep belief that the transformation you seek is within your grasp. She partners with individuals, couples, families, children, and teens to collaboratively create the shift required to achieve the desired goal. Andrea is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (MT4338). She earned both her Bachelor’s of Science degree in Psychology and her Master’s of Science degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Nova Southeastern University in 2014 and 2016 respectfully.

Andrea is honored to work with individuals and families crippled by the challenges they are experiencing. Her approach addresses issues that arise in blending families (step, adoptive, foster, and relative), parenting, marriage, life-transitions, and being a person of color. Additionally, she provides pre-marital counseling and serves those that are experiencing family conflicts, crisis, unresolved trauma, anxiety, depression, and self-esteem issues. Andrea provides an empathetic, non-judgmental and trusting therapeutic space where laughter is as common as tears.

Her treatment orientation is grounded in both a biblical world-view and evidence-based approaches such as Mental Research Institute, Intergenerational Family Therapy, Experiential Family Therapy, and Narrative Therapy. Professional trainings include Internet Infidelity, Trauma-Informed Play Therapy, Trust-Based Relational Intervention, Mindfulness, and Crisis Intervention. Andrea offers a free 15-minute phone consultation to all new clients. Sessions are offered mornings, afternoons and evenings to accommodate clients’ unique schedules.
