ORTAL WINER, M.S., LMFT (MT3648)

Ortal Winer is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist  (MT3648). She is a Member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy. Ms. Winer has a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Central Florida and a Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy from Nova Southeastern University.

She has experience working with children, adolescents, individuals, couples and families. She primarily works with teens and young adults who are coping with anxiety, stress management, relationship issues, anger management, life transitions, goal setting, and decreased self-esteem. Ortal worked in the PROMISE program, which provides an alternative to suspension or arrest for at risk youth in Broward County.

Ms. Winer provides a safe environment and works collaboratively with her clients as she helps them learn to cope with the challenges they face. Often, the reality of life cannot be changed, however your perception of what is occurring can help you overcome and move forward in your life.

Ortal utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), Mindfulness and The Gottman Method. She is also certified in Collaborative Divorce as well.
