Monique Issa, M.S., (IMH 25379)

Monique is a Registered Mental Health Counselor intern who holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University. Monique is dedicated to helping women navigate the challenges of anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, emotional dysregulation, and relationship difficulties. With a focus on healing from past trauma, Monique works collaboratively with clients to uncover and address the underlying issues that contribute to their current struggles. Her therapeutic approach is rooted in the belief that true healing involves not only addressing symptoms but also understanding the deeper causes that shape a person’s experience.

Monique specializes in providing trauma-informed care, utilizing a variety of therapeutic modalities, including EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) therapy, to help clients process and release the emotional and psychological effects of past experiences. Her integrative approach also focuses on the mind-body connection, emphasizing the importance of physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being in the healing process.

In addition to her work with trauma, Monique supports clients through life transitions and stressors, helping them develop the emotional resilience and coping skills needed to navigate difficult situations with confidence. Whether clients are facing challenges in relationships, work, or personal identity, Monique provides a safe and supportive space where they can explore their feelings, gain insight, and cultivate positive change.

Monique is passionate about empowering women to cultivate self-compassion, improve self-esteem, and create meaningful, fulfilling lives. She fosters a warm, nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard, respected, and valued. Through a combination of therapeutic techniques and deep empathy, Monique helps clients build lasting self-understanding, emotional balance, and a greater sense of inner peace.
